I wonder if readers who didn't like this volume don't understand what Suicide Squad is about. Volume two incorporates classic comic action with well-developed characters in a way that doesn't just serve to stir violence and demean women. Sure there is plenty of violence, but Glass' s storyline give it a purpose.

A team with nothing to lose against a terrorist cell. Very interesting story,as more background is revealed. Some parts seemed too fast, and muddled.

I had really enjoyed learning more about Amanda Waller's past in this volume. It really shines a light on why there is the "Task Force" to begin with. I found myself having more empathy for her. I definitely wish that the movie had this kind of plotline and not the one they went for.

Things are complicated in the Suicide Squad. There's a traitor, flashbacks, double crosses and almost unremitting violence. Makes for a colourful read but don't expect an easy ride.

Wow. I should have just skipped this story arc completely and started with Volume 4.

This is my first Suicide Squad comic (cuz movie for this is also coming out). I actually like it. This is definitely a darker alternative to Marvel and so many action and more darker theme. Nice concept and very willing to continue this series.
