I’m waiting for Jessa to write a bad book, honestly. This was so good and of course frustrating. Joah really needs to work out his own issues bc that’s why we’re having problems here. I loved all the characters in this and can’t wait for part 2!

I truly almost dislike all of her characters. Immature, miscommunication, young, entitled, etc. Regardless, I end up finishing her books wanting MORE.

Real life gets hard for these main characters, both trying to stay in and out of the spotlight. Navigating fame and true feelings, things get intense. If you want drama, feelings, abusive relationships, trauma, then you’ll get it.

Can’t wait for book 2!

This book wasn't even a little for me. I'm sure there are people who love utter dysfunction who will eat this book up like candy, but that's not me  I didn't like either of the characters, and every time I CONSIDERED liking them for each other one of them would do something stupid or cruel or stupid and cruel. If it weren't for Rich & Lala, I'd say there are no characters I'm even a little interested in seeing have good things happen. The book is wonderfully written, which is why I finished it, but I did not enjoy the story. And while I'm definitely not reading the second book, I'm actually interested in this author and seeing more from her!

4.75🌟 i loved this and ur boring if u didnt!!! jessa hastings' toxic messy characters will get me every single time but what keeps me coming back is her beautiful writing. so close to 5🌟 for me too but too much of that trope!!! although i can see how it makes sense for the story. i absolutely love celebrity romances!!
no one's mentioned the tiny magnolia parks reference but it made me want to die

I don't understand what anyone sees in Joah when Fletch and Richie are options. Ysolde is way too good for him. I loved La La.
