This had the potential to be five stars, but I think it was just too similar to Magnolia Parks & BJ that I couldn’t ever replace her with Ysolde & Joah. People complaining that it’s too similar to Magnolia Parks… who cares? This book itched my need for more Magnolia Parks. It’s no different than same tropes & themes, different books. Overall love her style of writing, it’s addicting and with the toxic couples, I could not get enough. I’m excited for the next book! I’m skeptical about reading ‘Never’ but since I’ve been nothing but obsessed with all of her other books I think I’ll have to.

So close to the elusive 5 star !

I seem to really enjoy Jessas writing & having listened to this book on audible it made it even better with th accents etc

Joah is your typical jack the lad but make him famous & Ysolde is your typical Queen Bee.

They chemistry between the two felt a little fake at times with how quickly it all happened and how. It also got a little repetitive but I still really enjoyed it.

Especially the ending that done a full 180 flip that I didn’t see coming with her ending up with some American.

I can only assume a book 2 will be on the way to find out exactly what happens

Joah’s POV was so annoying to me because writing in his accent was hard for me to wrap my head around. But I kept going. Curious how other Jessa Hastings books are!

4 stars even!!

i really enjoyed this one - not as much as i loved her other novels - but man do i love a toxic relationship written by jessa hastings 😮‍💨

honestly the trope was a bit similar to her other novels, which is why it wasn’t a 5 star for me, but i did love the model x rockstar setup (joah would probably hate that i kept calling him the front man of a boy band)

one thing about jessa is u will feel inside of the characters brain which i LOVE

This is a knock off BJ and Magnolia love story without the history which made this a bit too whirl windy. Joah has quite a lot of work to do in order to be redeemable!

Honestly I don’t think this is my favorite JH book, it was a pretty toxic book honestly. I really really hated Joah, he pissed me off so much. I thought I would like it but honestly no, I did enjoy Ysolde’s character and I kind of want her to end up with Richie. But yeah. Not my favorite.
