I love this book. In fact I love the entire series. No matter how many times I reread the series, the deaths in this book hit me the hardest. Especially, Prim's death. Katniss tried so hard to protect her sister. She hunted to provide for her, she volunteered to take her place in the Games, time and time again she tried to protect her. Only for her to die anyway. It was so heartbreaking

The best I can explain the ending isn't that it's happy or sad. The ending is just an ending and I think that's perfect

Meh. The scene with the cat brought a few tears to my eyes, but that was all I really thought about this book. I felt like it was a third book just to draw out the awkward relationship and terrible deaths of the first two books. The end glossed over a rushed through a lot of things that could have been written with more substance.

As a major fan of both of the previous books, I was majorly disappointed by this book, as the end of the series. It was, quite frankly, terrible. It was slow paced, only to result to a disappointing and terrible ending. I wanted to throw my book out of the window.
