Overall this book was very fun to read. The first few chapters were a little confusing since the narrator voice keeps changing without notice, but I got used to it at some point and just started to enjoy. 
The premise of the story - a theme park world for tourists is so novel, and very funny, but as the book goes on, you start to see the darker undertone to the whole thing. It ends up making the story much more interesting and the characters more robust. Very clever writing as I've come to expect from this author.

well, most of the point of the story is that things are made up to entertain tourists, at some point you realize that the people are actually suffering and enslaved. While it doesn't exactly make light of their in slavery, it doesn't fully adress the wrongness of it either.
