Lowkey feel bad for her dad 😭 he’s just doing his best and wants a relationship with his daughter and she’s being kinda a bitch. Also I’m still kinda mad at the mom for sending her to birding school alone without her knowing that’s so crappy
Also there is DEFINETYL something going on with her and wes like I’m sorry the number of times he compliments her and she’s like “he’s so hot and sweet”. I’m willing to bet Sarah’s cheating or him or smthn and they break up and then she comforts him bc she knows what it’s like and then BOOM LOVE TRIANGLE.

This book was slow to start out. Isobel stressed me out with all of her secret keeping. She never learned throughout the entire book just to be honest with people. Other than that, it was a good book, and I’m excited for the next one.

This book is a good palate cleanser. It's nothing super special but it's a good forbidden romance.
The writing and plot is easy to follow, but it is cliched and predictable.
It's not a book that l'd categorise as amazing, but it's a good comfort read. I didn't find that there was much depth to any of the characters to the point that I felt any connection to them, which is disappointing.
