Too predictable and I hate the cliffhangers.
Decided to drop the book, mostly because of the cliffhangers.

PredictAble but enjoyable
I’ve pretty much guessed the whole story from the first couple of chapters of the first book in the series but that doesn’t make it any less enjoyable to read

The queen has done it again!!!! Absolutely could not put this book down hands down one of my top favorite books of 2021
Hold on to your seats because there are a few plot twists a massive cliff hanger and the introduction of gods walking among us. I love all the different themes in this book! Also those princes are something else. Most RH have either a.) the guys have a pre-existing relationship and are totally cool with sharing with the exception of ONE who eventually comes around OR b.) the guys tell the girl not to worry about their petty jealousy because it's something they will work out without the females interference. Yup always seems a bit easy for the girl right?? So three brothers fighting over a toy in this book his hilarious, yet pulls your heart strings. You want to empathize with every single person. And again with the action. There's betrayal, unexpected alliances, and I really need this to be a movie.
1.5/2*
I'm even more confused by the great reviews for this one, because where the first one was average and predictable but still entertaining, this one I found genuinely bad for most of it. I was laughing out loud at how atrocious the writing was at times.
Maybe I'm just not into the 'reverse harem' plot, but I really hate the three lovers thing. And she literally can't choose?? I didn't find it realistic, especially since her connection to two of them is purely physical, the only one she actually really talks to/seems to have genuine friendship with is Lee. He seems like an obvious choice to me, and I found her character so annoying in this one. It was ALL about jealousy and cringey sex scenes and it had nothing to do with the fantasy quest it was supposed to be.
At least the 'twist' of her being the heir was finally revealed, though she stayed a proper idiot about that too.
Maybe it's a spoiler but this series is so ridiculous I don't think I could ruin it, but I would actually prefer the two princes actually were dead (I'm pretty sure they're not) so that her choice was made.
And since the warning about not trusting anyone including her Princes, maybe they're all evil or pawns for their father, or they're all going to die anyway.
I was pretty invested in book one in reading in to find out who she chooses at the end, but it's so ridiculous at that point that I wouldn't care if literally all of these characters died.
I'm still going to read book 3 though because I've come this far.

Just as awesome as the first one! Although it was a lot about the MC finding out what we already know, I love this world and I love these boys.
