A wonderfully touching story about the love between a dog, a boy, and his grandparents. Thirteen year old George chooses to stay with his grandparents after his fathers death. As they are dealing with the loss they are helping each other in many ways.

I have a dog named Tucker which is why I picked this book. Cute story! I enjoyed it and it wasn't a cheesy Christmas tale at all. Happy to have stumbled upon it & Tucker is an excellent dog name.

This was exactly what I was looking for. It was quick, entertaining, Christmasey and not too mushy. I haven't yet read "A Dog Named Christmas," but after this one I'm going to pick up a copy. This was the perfect book to read on a snowy day.

Listen in to a chat I had with Greg Kincaid over on the All the Books Show podcast. https://soundcloud.com/allthebooks/episode-172-take-five-with-greg-kincaid

Just finished this book and I'm typing through tears. The first part of the book was pretty slow and dare I say it, boring. But the last two chapters were beautiful. I'm going to remember George McCray and his dog Tucker for Christmas's to come.

This was a good book and it was a fast read. I'm interested to read the third book in the series.
