Yet another book recommendation from BookTok that I just couldn’t finish. I had such high hopes for this book, but I couldn’t get past 10% before I just had to give up. I’m growing more convinced that all BookTok recommendations should be ignored as this is the 3rd viral book I’ve tried and I’ve been disappointed once more.
I won’t give this book a star rating as I believe that isn’t fair to the author since I didn’t finish the entire book. But this author’s writing style is just not for me. I found the style to be a lot of ‘telling’ the reader bits of information instead of ‘showing’ it by weaving info in throughout the novel. That kind of writing style just distracts me too much and isn’t my cup of tea. Additionally, within the first 10% of the book I decided there wasn’t a single character in this book that I could stand, let alone like. I found them all to be annoying and shallow and I just didn’t care about them at all and personally if I don’t feel a connection to any character in an entire book, I just can’t keep reading.
Long story short, this is another book recommendation from BookTok that has flopped hard but sounded like it had such promise. I DNF this title and won’t be leaving a star rating and most likely won’t pick up another title from this author due to my dislike of their writing style. I’m glad others seem to enjoy this book a lot, but not one for me!

Do not let the extremely cute cover fool you – this book was so much more then I expected, and I cannot wait for books to come in this series!
I’ve come to find I love college sports romance books and wow! If anyone is familiar with the Off-Campus series by Elle Kennedy then you will not regret picking up this book!
I’d give Nate my heart honestly... In these type of books there is usually a really big communication issues – as in they never communicate and that’s where all their stupid problems come from but Nate and Stassie have such good communication I loved it! Each of their personalities shown through without relying too much on each other.
Bonus points for the Shmut because damn it was good
Also if there can be a book for Henry that would make me sooooo happy
