5/5- I'm going to be honest... I didn't think I would like the Havens after binging the Bailey Brothers. But omg I am just as obsessed (if not more) with Josiah Haven. I loved this grumpy x sunshine/ romantic suspense. The love story between Josiah and Audrey is sweet + romantic & the suspense/mystery keeps you guessing the entire time. I was totally wrong about who the bad guy was! I really enjoyed this one, I cannot wait for the second one to be out this spring!

Another new to me author that I decided to try this year and this one is a keeper. I adore small town, found family and we even have the romantic suspense plot moving the story along. Plus we have a dog, how perfect is that?
The couple storyline was really good, we see them meeting and it’s definitely not cute, plus we see how things evolve in a good time, the suspense part is more prominent in the end, but Josiah was great about it, always trying to help and keep her save. Audrey is starting in a new town and I loved how she tries to keep things on the positive, despise everything going on. In the end we have 2 epilogues, that brings me joy.
