very cute book, expected more spice, very tessa bailey vibes with how quickly they get together but the twist with who was the stalker was a good plot line kept me invested, and now i gotta read the rest of the series cause i’ve grown fond of these brothers

This book was a perfect mix of intrigue, mystery and danger. Who doesn't like a good book with a grumpy hero? Right! This book has one of those. Josiah is the perfect lumberjack, grumpy, hot, alpha male.
This book takes place in a small town and starts with the female lead character Audrey, returning home with her tail tucked between her legs. She has to start over, since she lost her job and went through her savings out in the big city. With cute and cuddly dog she rents a cute home from a grumpy landlord, Josiah. What she doesn't expect are the feelings she gets when she meets him. In a very unexpectant way. When she gains a stalker, Josiah makes it his mission to protect her. But can he also protect himself from falling for her?
This book has a wonderful mix of fun, danger and love. It is a mysterious read with wonderful characters and I hope to read more. I think I am in love with Josiah. wink! wink!

Obsession Falls is the perfect romantic suspense story with a gruff but sweet hero and a sunshiny but slightly awkward heroine! Josiah and Audrey are EVERYTHING!
The suspense element of this book was on point! It keeps you guessing until the end. Add in Josiah and Audrey's relationship and you get the perfect book! Josiah might seriously be my new favorite Claire Kingsley hero! He's broody and grumpy on the outside, but attentive and protective on the inside. After finding out about his past, I don't blame him one bit for protecting himself with his gruff exterior. He's a man of few words. Audrey loves this about him because when he does talk, it's honest and meaningful. She is so sweet and I love how she would ramble when nervous. I absolutely love how these opposites complete one another.
Josiah makes Audrey feel beautiful, safe, and adored. She shows Josiah that he is lovable and worth choosing. Gah! I just can't get over how much I freaking love this book! We also get Audrey's goober of a dog, Max, the Haven family, and some Bailey sightings! Bravo! Chef's kiss! Can't wait for more!!!
I received an ARC for an honest review.

I DNF @88%. It started off good really it did and I was enjoying it, but I felt like it really started to drag towards the end and I was just over it. If I’m being completely honest I only read this one because I want to read the third one.
