Heavy on the plot and slow burn. Lower on the šŸŒ¶ļø and adult language.

Grumpy sunshine with a hint of suspense of a PG- 13 stalker.
Josiah + Audrey + 🐶 max. Another return to small town, and man with a giant family.
Feels very very reminiscent of the Lena Hendrix King Series. This would be a lighter version of that series. I enjoyed and finished. HEA.

I would absolutely continue with the author and her series. The Haven series is actually last in the order they should be read in. So I may go back and start at the beginning before trying to finish Haven.

No esperaba disfrutarlo mucho y sin duda me convenció de continuar la serie de los Bailey.
Los romance con suspensos son mis favoritos y por lo que vi el siguiente libro tambiƩn serƔ asƭ.

I really loved this one so glad I finally got into this series. Romantic suspense is my favorite and this one did not disappoint. Max had my heart from the beginning I was so worried about him and I really thought it was the same person the whole book threatening her but the ending really threw me for a loop. I wish we saw more into Josiah’s life too.

Welcome to Tilikum, Washington.

Audrey Young is back in Washington…trying to make the best of things…a new job & an new house…a town over from where she grew up—because moving back in with a parent isn’t for everyone.

She’s managed to land a job with the small-town newspaper…that may or may not be on it’s last ā€˜breath’…since more & more things are going digital.

She manages to grab an small house to rent…since the previous renters bailed. She starts moving in…and gets a ā€˜surprise’ visit from her landlord (Josiah Haven)…who didn’t know that the house had been re-rented that quickly.

He’s grumpy & has a few ā€˜chips’ on his shoulders…

She’s more sunshine & trying to make the best of things…while wondering if she wants to stay..

Then things start to get weird…who’s killing the squirrels of Tilikum & leaving the dead bodies on her porch?

It seems that Audrey might have ā€˜acquired’ an stalker…and she has no idea why.

As Audrey & Josiah ā€˜navigate’ their feelings & whether or not they have a relationship…can they find the stalker before something happens to Audrey?  The answers can be found in the pages of Obsession Falls.

Five out of five stars…I didn’t see the twists & curve balls…especially who the stalker turned out to be…now I’m going to be diving into the second book in the series.

Dealing w a little anxiety and the stalking/unknown bad guy vibes made it a little worse. Also a mood reader and was starting to slide into a slump and it all combined in a not great way for me
