Wished this book was around when I was growing up. This topic is important to many developing girls. Perhaps period discussion is not as stigmatic as it was. I do believe that this is a good reading material for tweens and teens.

This is the book I needed when I was a teen, grappling with abnormal menstruation cycles and extreme pain that interfered with class time and daily life. It would take many years for me to learn that the pain I was experiencing during my period was not normal. Add years on to that to receive a definitive endometriosis diagnosis.

While it does cover period and body shaming, it is also a wonderful story about friendship and navigating high school. It’s also inclusive of people who are trans and gender non-conforming while also explaining that the historical taboos on talking about periods stems from sexism.

Great book! Periods shouldn’t be a huge taboo topic. Love this book. The characters are relatable and likable.

YESSSSS!
I loved this novel.
I want to buy all the copies and give them to every 10 year old female in the world.

This book deals with Period Shame, Period Poverty, Activism (& how being an activist can affect the people around you) and Realizing Your Sexual-Preference.

Ate this up. I would give this to my high school self. A read for all who have periods and those who don't. And with cute, loveable characters.
