Ez sokkal szórakoztatóbb volt, mint számítottam rá! Sosem láttam a filmeket, úgyhogy bőven ért meglepetés.

No idea ahow and what I feel about this book.
Too slow for my liking. The beginning is quite boring and it didn’t hook me in like I expected. I might give it a try at a later date.

I actually enjoyed "Pride and Prejudice" much more than "Emma." Often given the title of a "woman's book," I think such a title is exceedingly unfair as it overlooks Austen's skill for characterization and storytelling. Granted, Pride and Prejudice does move a little slow at times, but it's no small feat to make a grown man in 2015 (and 2017) come to care about romance in Victorian society, and much of it is due to Austen's intricate characterization.
Reread this book for a graduate class and appreciated it far more. Austen's humor and irony are subtle and clever. The majority of the characters are all quite complex, and her dialogue is fantastic.

The OG enemies to lovers. A unique time period to rendezvous in on occasion, in a post-bridgerton era. Lots of characters I really liked but definitely grateful for 2x speed audio books when the dialogue is so drawn out. Probably the first classic I’ve picked up since college, and an overall enjoyable read.

Wonderful, perfect and still reasoning until today. Pride and Prejudice is one of the beloved book by Jane Austen. It is remarkable how she can write this book. The writing, the plot, the humour and the heartbreak.
