Marvelous. Hilarious. Listened to on audio book, Sophie Aldred is an amazing narrator, and brings the motley crew alive. If this is the final episode I will miss the cast of characters of Ollie, Idris, Solace and the rest. Tchaikovsky, you are my fave, clever, complicated (how many characters in every book), funny, how you keep banging things out with such regularity is amazing.
A satisfying conclusion to the series! If you've gotten this far, you know what you are in for: massive, galaxy-spanning world building, truly alien species and cultures barely understandable by humans, monstrous bad guys and lots of fighting. So much fighting, hand-to-hand, mind-to-mind, ship-to-ship and fleet on fleet. If you have read the first two books, you will not be disappointed in this one. Some of the best science fiction of the past few years.
