Where is my Nikolai? I need this kind of love to find me. I knew I would love their story, but it surpassed my expectations. The only thing I didn't like was how easy the video came to light at the end. Who would do that when she would get in so much trouble? Other than that, this was so touching and hit on some very relateable mental health issues. Did I mention I love Nikolai?

I wouldn’t call this a dark romance. It’s more like with dark themes. I loved both the characters and their love. It was everything I want in a romance. A stay up all night, read at work, can’t stop kind of book

First MM book and Rina Kent book ever and I fucking loved it.

I tried to hold off writing this thinking maybe it was just to fresh and I wont feel so strongly but you know what it just made me simmer and hate it more.
I want to state for the record I have rated some of Rinas books 5 stars in the past so it wasn’t a new to me author. I love MM books especially when one is having an “awakening” , I LOVE Dark Romance, enemies to lovers and basically most the tropes in this book HOWEVER Rina could not of done all of these things in a worse way if she tried.
1. Niko was so juvenile it was actually impossible to believe he was in any type of mafia.
2. Niko POV was boring and ridiculous 90% of the time
3. Niko not only named his dick but then proceeded to talk to his dick multiple times throughout the book.
4. Bran literally had nothing of value to say and I swear did not have more then barely one sentence to one word replies to anything Niko said till 70% into the book.
5. Niko and Bran spent 70% of the book being uncomfortable to read and the last 30% couldn’t save them even if it did get slightly better.
6. Majority of the book was missing this thing called plot and then wow did Rina decide to try and add a whole heap of shit in at the 70% onwards mark to try and make it seem like the 500+ pages were necessary when they in-fact were not.
Read at your own risk but this is hours of my life I will never get back….

Very well written. Actually had a decent plot behind the writing and not just smut. I will say it was hard for me to give this 5⭐️’s because I think it lingers more on 4.5, but I didn’t hate bump it up because of the emotional aspect of the book. There are some raw moments that you can’t beat with this book that the others just didn’t have. I also enjoyed the comedic aspect of this book, and I know that had to do with the multiple personality disorder from Nikolai’s POV, but it was still fun to read nonetheless. It was a great golden retriever/grumpy-sunshine book. Would recommend.
