the ending is so confusing.. i was reading it as a diary in the beginning and really liked it but just got lost like the last 10 pages.

Glad it wasn't any longer. Cover and title infinitely more interesting than the insufferably smug contents.

Maybe I just missed the point. I don’t understand the hype around this book. It just felt like a whole lot of nothing from the perspective of a guy who’s just not a good person. Would not read again ever.

A true narcissist wrote this. Not really a plot to this book, just a diary of a man trying to justify his horrific actions. Although, one line did stand out to me. It was "we are not punished for our sins, we are punished by them". Our past will always find a way to haunt us, and maybe at times we deserve that hurting because of the pain we have inflicted on others. This "anonymous" author deserves every bad thing that comes at him. Unfortunately, I do think there are many men that may relate to this book(though they will never admit to it), and i pray to god one never finds me.

This reads like a 14-year-old boy's attempt at being "edgy" and "unique" for a Creative Writing class exercise.
Absolutely and utterly atrocious.
