A great conclusion to a fantastic series. This book marks the return of the episodic style of writing that marked the first foundation novels, and I really enjoyed it. We are taken with our three adventures in their pursuit of earth.
I thought the themes that were presented were done in a way that it never felt like it was being forced. The conversations between bliss and Trevize continued to be engaging while never feeling like a drag.
I really enjoyed this book in the foundation series. My only complaint is that some of the discussions around sex and female mannerisms were slightly misogynistic, but with a book written in the 80s it was not anything you wouldn’t expect from a novel written in that decade.

Moderate: Misogyny, Gaslighting, Animal death, and Sexism
