I knew very little about the plot going in to this book, other than a bunch of people are staying at a remote hotel in winter, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect going in.
The atmosphere was definitely my favorite part, it had this creepy feel that really sucked me in. I also enjoyed the bulk of the story immensely, I was never sure what would happen next, and that's always a lot of fun in a thriller. The characters weren't too likable, but I don't think they were supposed to be. David was probably the best one to me, mostly just because he actually has some common sense and intelligence. The ending was okay, it wasn't as satisfying as I would've liked, but it could've been way worse. As for that final twist...
Overall a pretty good read, it really makes me want to read more by Shari Lapena.

I hated the married couple throughout the whole story, especially Henry, but that just left a sour taste in my mouth. It just seemed a little hard to believe I guess.Overall a pretty good read, it really makes me want to read more by Shari Lapena.

I like books that make you think and this one definitely did that. Its easy to figure out who did it if you pay attention which kind of took some of the suspense away for me but it still provided some moments of mind games and I liked that.

The book was good. I think the end could have been 2 pages. It did not need to be a whole chapter. It was a good read. I had my head phone in with my snow sounds whenever I am reading to get me in the winter mood.
I like the book but some part could be left out.

Almost all the characters were pretty much unlikable, and each had a secret they were hiding that was revealed at some point in the story, which after finding out made me hate the characters even more. But overall this was a nice short read, and it made work go by nicely, but it could have been better.
