My review is not really spoilery but there are some references to spoilers in the book so be careful.
Sinopsis:
-This book is about some people who go to an inn for a weekend for different reasons such as connecting with their partner better or go to a pre-wedding mini holiday.
-Then someone( I'm not going to say who because it happens like 30 per cent into the book)  is murdered and we start discovering secrets about these mysterious people.
-They are snowed in the hotel and they cannot contact the police nor get out of it.
Characters
Gwen:
She was one of my favourite characters even though as everyone in this book she did something bad in her past. IMO she is a really good friend to Riley.
Riley: She is Gwen`s best friend. She has these panic attacks constantly because she was a journalist in some war countries and she saw some horrible things
David: He is an attorney accused of a crime some years ago. He is also one of the best characters for me.
Ian and Lauren: They are a young couple who go to the inn to spend a relaxing weekend together. I loved Lauren at first but damn was I wrong! Ian was a very nice character and person too.
Mathew and Dana: I really liked Mathew ( maybe because I imagined him exactly as the Mathew from Downton Abbey... Dana is the typical perfect girl who has all men dazzled , she was a freaking ***** lol
Beverly and Henry: They are here to fix their marriage. Beverly was someone I really liked throughout the majority of the book. Herny was the old annoying middle-aged man who you want to give sleeping pills in his booze 😉
James and Bradley: They were the managers and owners of the hotel and the only staff. They were really nice
Opinions
-
It was a really good and fun read and I loved the setting.
-The main mood for this book is tense because that is what describes my reading experience lol.
-The only downside was that even though the ending was good it just lacked something IDK what tbh.
-The authorial voice was really weird because it was like an omniscient narrator.
