I won this ebook in a giveaway on Facebook, and I’m so glad I did. This was such a fun and steamy read! I had never read an erotic story with a 4-way partnership before, and it was so intriguing to me. The monsters were mouthwatering, and the fear scenes were delightfully twisted. I found Desi’s confusion and hot/cold responses to be very realistic given the circumstances. Girl’s emotions were all over the place, as would mine be. My only complaint is that I want MOREEE of these 4.

I loveddd the whole dynamic they had going on, with Penn & JD being so dominant and Will & Desi being submissive. But I especially loved how when sweet submissive Will would get his hands on Desi, it brought out a dominant/intimidating side of him that I didn’t expect.

The book has a little more dubcon than I'm normally into, but the rating got bumped up due to getting some poly representation with good time/effort spent on the M/M relationships.

This was a fun monster RH book with a unique connection between monster and human. I enjoyed the world building and the idea of monsters coming to life because of humans creating the idea of them.
I didn’t love that it was such a fast burn love story. I would have loved more time to get to know all of the characters better and see them interact over the course of weeks or months so I could invest more in their relationship.
I ALWAYS appreciate the LGBTQ rep, so I loved that it was polyam instead of RH.

Loved it so much!
This book was everything I didn’t realize I needed! I loved everything about it from the shocking characters (I went to college in Vermont, I am all about some Champ), to the plot, and the thought that went into working out these legends we all grew up hearing about. It was EVERYTHING!

Desiderata works on the boardwalk, She runs carnival games. After a long day of dodging darts and teasing tourists at her balloon game booth, she decides it's time for a drink. A handsome stranger named JD buys her a drink and they flirt. Things seem to be looking up for her, until she catches him making out with another boy, five minutes after flirting with her! She decides that she needs to go out and forget the man she met the previous night, and she goes on a date with a tall, dark, and handsome man that walks into her job. There's a catch though, he's dating the two men she had met the night before.
