Dominic was boring. Not my type of 2nd chance romance.

Quick, easy read.
They’re lucky to have each other.

Okay, so Dominic and Alessandra's story might actually be competing with Kai and Isabella for my favourite so far! When it's done well, these sort of second chance romance stories are a favourite of mine, and this one was done really well!

I felt so connected to these two, and I think it's because Dom was written really well. Though I was on Ale's side in her decision to divorce him, the character and the story were really well written to the point where you could really understand what drove Dom to his obsessions and his current behaviour.

Ana showed in the story the way Dom is deep down as a person, even if he's lost his way a bit. That is the stuff I live for in a second chance romance - a protagonist who is genuinely good deep down and will do anything to apologise and make it up.

He was in the wrong for how he treated her, 100% - but not once in the book does he make an excuse or try to blame her or write off/downplay her feelings.

He fucked up, and he owns it. He needed to change to be better, so he did. We love to see it!

Their romance was so beautiful all through the conflicting emotions and it was so good! Plus that spice! As always, a 10/10 🔥

I usually foam at the mouth for second chance trope but this book, not so much. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the story and it was a good read.
