1.) This audiobook was far better than the first one. More clean cuts and actually blended audio that I only caught some of the re recordings and could actually pay attention to the story.
2.) I still think this book too a little too long for anything to happen, the last part of the book was where most of the stuff happened and I was most invested and I knew going into it it was going to take forever to get there based on the first book lol. Jude was even more annoying in this book I was so frustrated by her the entire time that I don’t feel bad at all for what happened to her in the end like she was the only one who didn’t see any of the consequences to her horrible decisions and actions coming and it’s so funny but i don’t think that’s the point of the story so 😅 I did enjoy this story more and the last book was a fkn banger I just think book 1 and book 2 could’ve been combined into 1 tbh and just made it a bomb ass duology but it’s alright we got to be in fairy world for longer lol

I hate Taryn.
Jude and Cardan need to get their shit together because this series was sold to me as romance fantasy, but I'm only getting CRUMBS of it, and every time I think, "Oooh, it's happening, they're moving in the right direction," BAM, betrayal.
I really hate Taryn.
