I finally cave in and started this this series. So Juliette is cute, Warner is interesting, Adam exist.
Romance between Adam and Juliette is rushed and I don't care about them as couple.

Adam Warner being half brothers is obvious because James is looks lookswise is mini Warner and both them have daddy issues.

Best character is Kenji Kishimoto, can't wait to read more about him.

I didn’t really love this book but at the same time I didn’t hate it. I didn’t find myself attached to Adam as I know that he’ll turn out to be the bad guy but I did find his actions towards Jude really sweet and caring. I also knew Warner’s gonna be the good guy but I legit hated him sm in this book. It got boring at some bits and wasn’t really a page turner for me but I have hope in the next books. (spoiler: I’m writing this review after finishing Ignite Me and I confirm it got way better) The plot is interesting and the writing style is intriguing.

DNF @ about a third of the way.

I was going to give up sooner, but I saw so many people highly rating this so I continued for another 60 pages but was still not feeling it. I've decided I'm not really in the mood for this. It's the second time I've tried to read this book, so maybe it's just not for me.

I'm not disappointed because I'm glad I don't have to slug through 6 books in the series!

I guess 3rd time really is the charm... I'm so excited that I can finally say that I have read the first book in the shatter me series!!! I hope I can finish the rest of the books soon! :)

Mafi's writing is impeccably beautiful. All books should be written with such detail and feeling!
