This was my favorite book of the series. I hated the way it ended because it was a cliffhanger, minus one start because of that.

I have enjoyed the Truly Devious series and I think it is my current favorite YA mystery to read. In Nine Liars Stevie and the gang head to London for a ten day study abroad. The real reason though Is to so that Stevie can see David. While there they are quickly introduced to one of his new friends, Izzy, whose aunt many years ago was at a country home where two of her good friends were murdered with an ax. The assailant has never been caught but Izzy wants Stevie to look into it. We then are following along with them all as we try to determine what really happened that night so many years ago. It was almost a five star for me but I would say the middle was a bit bogged down and could have been cut down. Otherwise I am ready to keep going with the next book when it comes out and I loved that we got more of Nate.

Okay I really enjoy the mystery and crime of these book. But oh lord did Stevie annoy the crap out of me. She’s kinda a really selfish friend. But will I need the next two. Absolutely. I’m invested
