Moet zeggen dat deze tegen viel in vergelijk met de eerdere boeken. Nog steeds vermakelijk
Y’all this book literally had my heart beating in my chest, I was so freaked out. The killer (no spoilers) getting their own chapter and showing what a psychopath they are was bone chilling. Additionally I will scream from the rooftops that Nate is my favorite character and his friendship with Stevie is adorable. Additionally, David is as already on my shit list and this did not make it any better for him.

When I requested this I had no idea it was part of the truly devious series, I just wanted it because Johnson writes such engaging books.
I wanted to like this more. I actually felt like the mystery took away from the story. I wanted so much more of Stevie and her personal relationships. And the end left me in a place that makes me so mad that I have to wait for the next book.

3.5 stars. It would've been an uncomplicated, enjoyable 4, but then that ending happened. Argh.
3.5 stars. I am definitely a big fan of this series, but this was probably my least favorite book of the series so far. There was a great deal of extraneous historical information that really didn't add to the story for me. I thought this one got bogged down in unnecessary details about London tourist sights and transportation. Our main characters are already very well developed and it helped to be familiar with them as the inclusion of all of the new characters was quite a lot to keep track of. I will continue to read the series, but I am hoping that the next books will be a bit more polished.
I can't get enough of this book series! I also appreciate the realistic take on the characters' friendships and respective mental health struggles.
