I really appreciate getting through this relatively fast after not really reading for a while. I love this series. The characters and the mystery always grab my attention. I love the core friendship group with Stevie, they are so good for her. I also just love Nate so much. He always makes me laugh with the things he says. I hate David, my opinion on him changes with every book but it's mostly been consistently not the best. Also he just sucks lol. I was so interested in the mystery in this one, I just wanted to know which one of the nine did the brutal murders. Did not predict it at all. Some of the nine were more memorable than others. So I found myself mixing them up a lot. But I did really enjoy this book despite it being weaker than the others in the series. Would still recommend cause it's so fun.

i have thoughts

1) i think it’s the funniest thing ever that stevie felt “out of her depth” in england because issy (izzy?) was ordering indian food and she didn’t know what any of it was. that’s not an english thing exclusively it’s cause you’re dumb (sorry)

2) the tour guide said all of jack the rippers victims were prostitutes WHICH IS NOT TRUE (only 4/5 were i think)

3) i dont understand how stevie pieced this together because i feel like there was no evidence and nothing pointing to who did it or how

4) i thought the reveal was so stupid because i felt like there was no real motive for the first murder so the other three didn’t need to occur

5) I HATE DAVID AND IDK IF ITS CAUSE I ONLY READ THE FIRST TRULY DEVIOUS BOOK BUT I FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE NO CONNECTION AT ALL

Excuse me?! Ummm...what was that ending?! I'm literally still in shock, okay let me rewind a little. I'm so invested in this series and I cannot WAIT for another book to come out. This wasn't my favorite book of the series but it was still pretty dang good! I did get a little confused at the beginning with all the characters and I remember feeling the same way with the first book when we met Stevie, Nate, Janelle, David, Ellie, etc. but once I figured out who the adult were I was in SHOCK. I won't say too much for the fear of giving away any spoilers but oh my with the ending, I knew that character was a walking red flag but still didn't see THAT coming! Wow.
