For a book about such a difficult topic, it lacked depth and intensity and I honestly can’t remember much about it despite having just finished it. Meh.

This is so different from what i thought i was getting into.
It’s so... interesting would be the wrong word
Dark, strange, makes you face some hard facts about what’s right and what’s wrong in those kinds of difficult situations,
It narrates this topic in such a dark tone, but still true and painful.

I don't know how I feel about this story. It seems to me like a gross oversimplification but I also think that there's not much else they could have crammed into it without it being too much. The writing was compelling, though.

Couldn’t tell if it was satirical or not so my review is poor

Enjoyed the characters and their honesty despite a trite premise ; too bad it’s a short story.
I wanted more !

Critical fiction of the NHS, pro-lifers, parenthood, love, and unlucky genetics, all through the eyes of a man who didn't want a baby; a man who was against false hope; a man who wanted to get on with his life; a man who wanted to be loved like as a person and not in the same capacity as a toaster - or a baby who cannot think, feel, hear, see or cry.
