Wow, this nonfiction book was in many ways worse than a post-apocalyptic novel, because you know that what is described is actually possible. In fact, it may even be more likely now than during the cold war, as prominent world leaders (two in particular) seem to become more irrational with each passing year.

Fun read! Let's hope none of that ever happens. Although I'm left with a few questions, like:

•Why did I read this?
•What am I supposed to do with this knowledge except shit my pants every time there's the slightest bit of saber-rattling from North Korea or Russia?
•How did it come to be that arguably the world's greatest military force, which spends nearly $1 trillion annually on defense, is so ill-prepared for this scenario and has such unreliable missile defense systems?
•Could the preppers be on to something?
