Okay I’m not going to lie, my expectations might have been *slightly* too high because some of this felt…very slow. I definitely loved BUTCHER & BLACKBIRD more. That said, this entire concept remains incredible and the characters are wonderful, and I absolutely did enjoy this even if it took me a bit longer to get there. Full review to come!

Bryner Weaver has done it again, I love this series! Butcher and blackbird was so great and book two doesn't disappoint! Also the audio book and the narrators are just magically! I can't wait for book three

Maybe my expectations were high because I was highly anticipating this release but this story truly felt disjointed in relation to the first book and separately on its own. The chemistry between the two characters was a miss for me, unfortunately.

I'm just really bummed this didn't work for me however, I seem to have an unpopular opinion so I'm not mad about that.
