This started with such promise! A secret royal twin goes questing after her sister, the last publicly-known heir to their royal throne, is put into a sleeping-beauty style sleep. On the way she is introduced to new perspectives on life and starts to question her upbringing, self-knowledge and gender identity. And then 150 pages in it all fell to pieces after a cookie-cutter "fated mate" catches up with her - turning an interesting and thoroughly modern (in a good way) coming-of-age fantasy into an incredibly plodding plot, wooden dialogue romantasy. Gah.
