just stunning. this is one of the only few books i've read for school that i actually loved reading. this book was amazing.

I am pretty apathetic toward this book. It was a quick read which was nice, but I felt like I barely retained much because there were so many characters and stories that I kept mixing up who is who and whose story was whose. I was just flowing through the story because it was mildly entertaining but just felt kind of structureless.

I would’ve preferred a focus on one daughter/mother relationship, as the 8 characters and all of their respective divorces lost me early on and never cleared up.
