I loved everything about this book. The chemistry. The politics. The international relations. The romance. All of it. I want to reread it whenever I'm feeling sad (& I want it to actually happen).

This was book #25 for Romanceopoly 2020.

Pack: Moon
Square:Post Office
Challenge: Read an epistolary romance

This book started very slowly for me, and I almost gave up after the first few chapters. However, I'm so glad that I didn't. This was my first M-M romance and it was wonderful. These characters are thoroughly enjoyable to spend time with. There are elements of the overall story that I believe are overhyped but my knowledge of British royalty might affect that opinion. Regardless I would highly recommend this book for anyone.

Good read overall but a lot of American politics which I found very boring.

This book was ALL the things! Sweet, hilarious and powerful! I didn't think I'd like this, but after seeing it's extremely high ratings I thought I should give it a go and I am SO glad I did!! Amazing!!

I got literal goosebumps when Alex and Henry saw all the people out the windows cheering them on, and the huge support they were receiving all over the world. If only we lived in a world like this! And if only Alex's mum was the real president of the USA instead of the wanker who is right now....

On a side note - The audio book narrating/accents were perfect, I could easily imagine both Alex and Henry. Just perfect all round

- like third time reading through? It’s such a comfort read tho
- fast paced and fun
- also a big fan of all the side characters. And for a romance heavy book the plot that carries it forward is so engaging

I overall really liked this book. The carachters were mostly interesting and I liked Casey McQuistons witty writing style. The middlesection in this book were really good and I could feel the tension lingering through the papers. I feel however that the ending was a bit one dimensional, like we had been told the whole book that this was a huge problem and suddenly it just wasn't. I felt like that was a bit unbelivable. That aside, this book was cute and cozy.

I would recomend this book if you want to read something feel-good!

Bonus fact: This book just screamed "I wanna be yours by Arctic Monkeys"
