a couple thoughts...

Spoiler- end other woman drama please. it’s so boring and predictable nowadays. this story was honestly unique, from what i’ve read anyway, but having the secretly mean/evil girl trying to steal the hero from the heroine took away from that. it’s been done so many times just with slight tweaks. this would have still been a readable story without thalia.

- speaking of thalia, the scene where thalia first has sex with lev and he starts saying baileys name while inside thalia will haunt me forever...right along with this quote: "You were my everything-mother, sister, mentor, best friend, potential lover". mother/sister and lover should never be in the same sentence no matter the situation. though for context, lev is explaining to bailey here how he felt about her when she supported him right after his mom died.

- the brand name dropping in the first quarter of the book was too much. many of us read sinner of saints and the first three books of this series, we are well aware of their wealth by now. I still don’t get why authors include pop culture references - it dates their book. trends change so quickly and something cool now will probably not make sense to someone in ten years.

- daria and penn’s book was my least favorite of the original three but her appearances are always so fun. i really like her now (though I never really disliked her). she's my favorite out of all of the characters in all saints high, including the parents, though luna and knight still have the best book (Broken Knight is one out of very few books that I've given five stars).

- i'm really struggling to think of things I liked about this book. I thought it was sweet when Lev said "Why are we crying" when bailey was upset but now that i've just typed it out, it wasn't that romantic lol. i actually really liked dixie, but i was disappointed that she ended up having a baby with dean and not because of my personal attachment to rosie. i think it was mentioned twice that dean looks at dixie like a sister, yet they still have a baby together (through ivf, which is def not sex but still weird). also, dixie could've played her same role in lev and bailey's story and still decided that she would find love elsewhere (not with dean) while still remaining in lev and knights life.

- while I wanted bailey and lev to find happiness, I went into this book and read all three of the previous books not really caring about them, and honestly, I still don’t. this is definitely my least favorite of this series

Meh. I have no strong feelings for or against this. I don't feel like I wasted my time reading it, but at the same time I feel like I could have read something more entertaining. All the characters just felt bland? Idk. It was ok.

100% get this book a 10 out of 10 I feel like it really does well I'd explaining the highs and lows of someone that struggles with addiction and their mindsets as well as some of the things that they might go through afterwards and also really does what capturing  some of the things that they might go through trying to form relationships after that and how those people might feel while trying to protect their loved ones from something that is so heavily waiting down on them it's a really emotional book and it's very well but in personally I struggle to see things in my mind as I'm reading but this literally had me blowing my eyes out I could picture everything so clearly and it was like it was a movie it's just so emotionally well written it's like you're going through it with them it also has such a strong beginning that really draws you in from the second you start reading it it's amazing I love this entire series

I hundred percent give this book a 10 out of 10 I feel like it really does well at explaining the highs and lows of someone that struggles with addiction and their mindset as well as some of the things that they might go through afterwards. It also does really well at capturing how to affect them moving forward, trying to make relationships and how those people might feel while trying to protect their loved ones from something that is so heavily weighing down on them it’s a very emotional book and it’s very well written me. Personally I struggle to see things in my mind as I’m reading, but this literally had me bawling my eyes out. I could picture everything so clearly and it just like was written in such a emotional way it’s like you’re going through it with them.

satisfied the itch thank god
