I wish it wasn’t so obvious the fight between change and refusing to.

“GOTTA POP THESE KIDS LIKE CORN” -Frendo
This was a silly slasher book. Fun kills, little slow start, and overall enjoyable. These kids are low-key annoying though. I mighta put on the mask too ngl

More like Clown in a WOKEfield.
This was decent. Gives you exactly what you come to a slasher for. Plot is fairly thin and the writing is okay for what it is, but I found myself not being able to put it down for the last half. And overall I find the theme of generational divide pretty interesting, even if this book’s approach to it isn’t very deep or subtle in any way.
Gives me another reason not to move to Missouri... Mf have a clown mascot for corn syrup. Someone needs to look into that state to see what’s going on.

The writing in this book is not strong but that does not matter because when clown start killing things turn up a notch. The twists are predictable and not compelling (except for the last one if ya know ya know). All in all it’s a mediocre book that provided enough entertainment to keep me interested at the end of the day horror doesn’t have to be great to keep things interesting.
