Every character undermines the FMC. They think her dreams are too small and silly, she should give them up. They practically force her to change her mind about being a mother, which is vehemently against, and then they meddle in her relationship with her father like they know best. You DONT know best. It doesn’t matter HIS intent, or HIS feelings, it matters the reality of her life and if she want to resent him for the rest of her life, it’s her right to do so! So is her sister who is also constantly verbally abusive. Am I supposed to be okay with that just because “poor little rich girl, she is insecure”? This book is soooo condescending, I honestly can’t take it anymore.
And the dirty talk is boring and crass. Honestly? I’d rather erase this from my mind

I enjoyed this until the midway point. The FMC is kind of an immature brat from the beginning, but it almost got worse as the three main characters developed their relationship. I just couldn't buy that two 40 somethings wanted to commit to her.
The subplot was just kind of odd and went nowhere. I also hated how much horse content there was. The last 15% is almost a sports romance.

True rating: 3.5. This book/the ending surprised me. I enjoyed it. The smut was good. I liked the characters.
