Initially caught off guard by the level of spice in the book because I didn’t know/notice it was erotica (versus having just a bit of spice). Once I managed that expectation I enjoyed the book immensely. The character development and relationships felt organic. The ending felt a bit rushed, I wished the peak of the story happened a lot sooner so we could experience/explore those moments with the characters. It felt like a lot of telling but not showing. But I guess it worked.
