I normally do not read anything with MM but I am glad I did. The dynamics of Katie, Carl and Rick are absolutely amazing and the way it grows will swallow your heart while it gets you excited. I was actually jealous of this book relationship and wanted to be Katie lol. The stories of how Carl and Katie's childhood was nice for the character building and bringing in Katie's family was an addition as well. This book was a lot about self growth and not just spicy, wild sex but there is plenty of that as well.
This is the first time reading a book from this author and after this one I will read another of hers again.

It had more plot than I thought, but it was pretty predictable (though that probably comes with the genre). The smut was good.
The pace of the audiobook readers wasn't in balance. She was so much slower than him that it got annoying

I can tell this is KU because it starts with overly specific descriptions of how the heroes see the heroine's physicality and then goes on to have a TON of navel gazing, lengthy descriptions that add nothing to the forward motion of the story and unemotional sex. 1.5 stars
