This book allowed me to witness how fandom life and being so obsessed with a band or group feels exactly how I felt about it but also how the artists themselves could and most probably most do view it a certain way because of the over the top fans.

Qui abbiamo un contesto di fangirling alla One Direction, ma senza cadere nel clichè da fanfiction del 2015. Sarei curiosa di sapere cosa succede dopo questa fantomatica settimana.

I did not like this book as much as I hoped I would.  I have moderately severe anxiety, as does one of the main characters.  The other main character suffers from what I imagine to be depression, and there's a lot of imposter syndrome.  I was expecting a cute YA novel about a famous boy band member and one of his fans.  I was not expecting a sad, anxious mess of two young adults who continually made mistakes and stressed me out vicariously as I read the book. It had a hopeful ending, but this is my least favorite Alice Oseman book.

a good depiction of parasocial relationships between fans and artists and how things aren't always how they seem on the outside!!!
