Mr. Sin

S.J. Tilly

4.02 AVERAGE

I'm a big fan of Tilly & I LOVE the audio narration. This was a fun read

What an excellent start to the series. There is so much action and danger in this book that it grabs your attention and holds on. Mr. Sin is the absolute dark sin and what he wants, he gets even Sasha. A chance encounter and a surprise job puts Sasha and Vincent on a crash course collision.

I loved everything about Vincent even his hurtful ways. Sasha was a wonderful match for him. She is strong, caring and intelligent. I loved reading their story and can't wait to see what happens next for them and their family.

This book has some triggers that you need to be aware of. Such as: Kidnaping and Violence. Overall this book is an excellent read that ties into mafia background, making this a great dark romance.

reformed mafia family and single dad

I really enjoyed this single-dad, reformed mafia family, millionaire, work place romance. The banter between Sasha and Annie is top tier. I also loved the security team and her brother. As always with Tilly our MCs are falling hard and falling fast especially our MMC Vincent. Overall this definitely is a great read!

emotional funny medium-paced

I'll be honest, when I first started this I almost dropped it and moved onto something else. Not because it was bad, but I felt like it was going to be another carbon copy of the big, bad, alpha who won't commit because blah.. blah.. blah. Obviously, I've read too many of these and they just don't really appeal to me anymore. However, I kept reading and I'm happy to say that it started to become more for me.

While I read for the hero, it was actually the heroine that kept me reading. When a heroine blasts a hero for being a jerk and doesn't fall at his feet, you have my attention. If she hadn't done that then I would have dropped this book, and I'm really glad that I didn't.

Turns out Vincent ended up being completely obsessed with Sasha. He was so overprotective but in a good way, not a cheesy way. He was bossy but not domineering. He's the kind of alpha I like to read...once we got past the no commitment thing.

When you get to the ending and you wish there were more, then the book was successful.
