I think this should've been marketed as a 'single dad' romance, because his relationship with his daughter was the main driver of the plot.

Such a fantastic book
I've read this book multiple times now and it never gets old. Grumpy millionaire and the woman who works with him and tries to resist but can't, slowly softening him with time. Throw in a stalker and you have an incredible romance full of suspense and oh so well written!

The beginning was strong and then I realized this story isn't going anywhere...DNF
DOORMAT HEROINE
I like picking books from this author since her heroines, even under the age-gap trope, are mostly in their 30s (hero was 42y; heroine was 30y here). My main problem with this book however: the doormat heroine. I hate that the hero repeatedly humiliates the heroine and the heroine, like a dick-whipped loser she was, immediately forgives the hero EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. No groveling, no big gesture, nothing. The heroine really has no backbone. The hero did the bare minimum and next thing you know, she's on her back, opening her legs to that asshole. Fucking pathetic. That's why when they finally get together, I'm like...what-fucking-ever.
Fool her once, shame on him;
Fool her twice, shame on her;
Fool her for the nth fucking times?
Might as well help her call the DV helpline ffs!
