I honestly don’t know what possessed me to buy this and the second one. Must’ve been a moment of ambition 😂 And I can't even return them because I didn’t use credits, ugh.

Anyway, it started off alright, but wow, Sasha got so annoying. Her inner monologues felt like nails on a chalkboard…constant fake outrage, “I should be upset” 🙄 and the whole I didn’t know he was a billionaire trope just felt off…forced. Like, give me some realism, please with the whole thing…

It’s one of those insta-love stories where I just couldn’t bring myself to care. Things didn’t really connect, characters felt off… and yet, here I am, heading into book 2 totally blind. If I’m going to be disappointed again, at least I didn’t get hyped by other people’s excitement first 😂
