I love the idea of the midnight library, a library that contains your infinite possibilities at life. It is interesting to think who you would be as a person if you made a different choice earlier in life.

But… there we have Nora. Someone I could sort of relate to or at least feel for in the beginning, feeling lost and lonely and sad. Unfortunately she is also as dense as they come and needs a thousand in your face, super clear, spelled out lessons about life to get it.
Finally when she gets the perfect life, she realises her actions had consequences (gasp) and influenced other people’s lives. So she leaves her new found happiness to go back to her root life where she immediately gets everything she wanted and is now super happy and cured from depression! Which is totally how that works and not at all hurtful for people who are going through depression, “just change your outlook on life people” (hope you can pick up the sarcasm).

Also, if you do not wish to read a self-help inspirational type book, don’t read this one!

While the Midnight Library isn't the normal book I would choose to read now that I have read it. I was enthralled by the cover and the summary of the content I heard: someone being able to live an infinity of lives through books in a library. It wasn't what I expected, it was a thousand times better, not perfect and worth my five stars (maybe I'll changd my mind after a reread), but still so so good. Living these lives with Nora Seed, questioning our regrets while she can actually redo them, questioning the way of life... It was refreshing and a learning experience all the same. I would love to read this book again. It was great. Life isn't just happy moments, but hard as well, it's not about being perfect, it's about living, finding your moments and people and things you enjoy to do.
This book showed me that the little things are as important as the big and that it is okay to aim low as well, as long as you continue to aim and not give up. Doing something badly is better than not doing it at all!

Would you have done anything different if you had The chance to undo your regrets?
I'm sobbing now I finished this book it was another good book by Matt haig and definitely  one I'll be talking about for a very long time.
Huge flirting with nora was so cute

"The sex turned out to be disappointing"
"You are just a Mechanism"
This book is sooo good
This book made me fall in love with the charcters and felt the stories I would recommend  this to everyone  I know  especially  if you don't believe  you should be here, you are loved and I'm glad you are alive.
I'm so glad joe got sober and he became the person he needed to be😭

This book was so inspiring and hit me hard unfortunately  I know how nora felt throughout This book, and some of the topics hit home for me, the best advice I can give any reader is please take care of yourself  after reading this there is plenty of heavy topics

More than a 3 (it's a book and i read it) but less than a 4 (a book i would consider reading again and/ or definitely recommend others read)

At this point in my life, i appreciated the message

It was narrated very slowly - even at a higher speed, the narrator spoke at a natural speed. Whilst it matched the tone of the book, this may not suit everyone
