An inspiring story and a nice reminder to take off the rose tinted glasses when considering what could have been. Instead, look at the ways you impact others. "Never underestimate the big importance of small things."

Having read two of Haig's books now, I'm beginning to realize they might not be my cup of tea. While The Midnight Library has an intriguing premise, its execution falls short for me. The plot feels predictable, the pacing drags at times, and it seems to suffer from a sense of self-importance.

the end was predictable... which would have been fine if it didn't go on for so long. but it was a nice story to read
