Amazing and definitely a page turner but that ending made me want to throw the book across the room

3.5 stars. The .5 is the ending alone. A lot of the writing was repetitive, lots of people “standing up straighter”, and I do wish the creepy factor was amped up a bit, but that was a really good ending that I didn’t see coming. If it had been a little bit stronger throughout, I would have loved it. But I did like it and I’ll read more by the author for sure.

Dear god I hated the dialogue in this book. I know it’s YA but 16 and 17 year olds don’t talk to each other like that. Not a fan.
