and for that reason, i think this collection is absolutely gorgeous -- especially when listening to it. it's so simple yet so beautiful, like her music. i found it incredibly relaxing to listen to; it would be the perfect thing to listen to on a summer afternoon, journaling, or meditating, or crying[?]. note that this could possibly be heavily biased bc i absolutely love lana, but nonetheless gorgeous, stunning, beautiful!

I really enjoyed this. Lana Del Rey is one of my favorite musical artists and I found myself enjoying her poetry just as much. Her poetry is reflective, melancholic and fueled by Americana, much like her music. I found myself being sucked in as a participant again and again to the little windows of her thoughts and experiences that she wrote. I love the way she strings words and phrases together.
I'll definitely read this again. I'd recommend this to anyone who appreciates her music or just enjoys poetry that feels like watching a summer sunset.
