Wow, this was my favourite Riyria book yet. I like the story and the characters more and more with every single new book. Hadrian and Royce are one of the best duos I have ever read about and the other characters are also amazing, especially the female ones. I am eager to see the conclusion of this masterpiece!

I do find these a little boring recently. Idk. But the ending was good. Tbh when Royce told Hadrian they wouldn't see each other again, I was like NOOOOOOOOOOO

Yet another solid story. Yet more glimpses into the pasts of characters. Great advancement of the storyline.

Gaunt is *not* the heir. My guess is Royce. Afterall, when Esrahaddon and Arista performed the spell to locate the medallions, it only showed who was in possession of the medallions, not if the person in possession was in fact the proper owner. And Hadrian is a beacon of hope for Royce, teaching him that he can choose another, brighter path. There's more to being a Guardian than physical protection.

This book left me greatly anticipating Percepliquis. Is it April yet?

This was the best book of the series so far! Oh my God! It broke my heart and if the next one is gonna be better than this I don't know if I'll survive! All my beloved characters are in constant danger and I just can't take it! It's getting more and more like Game of thrones except that we have main characters, so At least they are save, but say goodbye to everyone else! I just can't deal with this. But It was sooooo good!
