This whole series was a fantastic ride of fun and emotion, I am so happy I read this series and can say confidently it is one of the best comics I've ever read!

I absolutely love the character development on all of the characters from Fone Bone and Thorn who grow an amazing friendship together, to Smiley who starts as kind of an oaf and stays the same yet turns into even more of a caring, compassionate character by the end, to Lucius and Ben who never give up the fight no matter what stands in their way, to Phoney Bone who stays greedy and yet really learns to think a little bit more about other things such as family and what is most important while also keeping his most serious character flaw just like how people develop in real life, to even Rock Jaw who in the end decides to stop really choosing sides when he let's Bone and Thorn past. Also I love (aka really hate!) the bittersweet ending with Lucius dying and Bone leaving but that's just how life goes and I think thats what makes this series so special to me. Even in this fantasy world, it is still very grounded in the way that life doesnt go the way you want it to sometimes and when it does it is usually not how you expected it.
