This was a short story about a goddess wanting to go on a quest and create a new world. I liked the plot and that the book had a lot of potential. The problem is that this book was a really short story. I felt that if the author wanted to that they could've expanded this book into a full length novel. I was surprised that it ended so soon. I hope that this is a prequel to the actual book.

I liked how strong and brave Celestra was. She wasn't willing to let anyone try and take away her dreams or distract her from the path she chose. She was very determined, even when it seemed she would never get what she wanted. I feel that future readers will be able to connect with her and appreciate her strengths and weaknesses. The author didn't do a great job with expressing some of her emotions throughout the book. Sometimes I felt that it wasn't even from her point of view.

Tydus was an interesting character because he was this playboy God who fell in love with Celestra and she doesn't return his feelings. HIs character was brave and strong and complimented Celestra nicely. They had a great chemistry and had great interactions throughout the book.

Overall this book was okay at the most. The characters didn't have a lot of emotions and the story was pretty short to be considered a book. I hope to see the author continue this story with a larger novel.
