Reread this book over and over, in time with the year. Helps me to reconnect with the passing of time and my love of nature. Beautifully written and illustrated. Open and honest, insightful and gentle.

I was bought this book as a way to get some 'Vitamin N' during Lockdown 2.0. I wish everyone could read it, it's just so magical. Emma is honest and open about her mental health but also incredibly knowledgeable about nature and its ability to affect the body. It's written in the months of the year, starting with October and finishing.with September. I've read it cover to cover but will revisit each month again this year. The illustrations and photographs are also incredibly beautiful, working in partnership with her beautiful writing to create vivid images of woodland, beaches and fenland in my mind.
